DBHSS PROGRAM POLICIES

1. Program Overview

Double Blessings Housing & Support Services (DBHSS) provides structured transitional and independent living support for individuals and families in need of stable housing solutions. Our goal is to promote long-term stability, independence, and self-sufficiency.

 

2. Eligibility

Applicants must:

 

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Be able to participate in program expectations

  • Be willing to follow structured housing guidelines

  • Complete intake screening prior to placement

Final eligibility is determined after review of application and availability.

 

3. Intake Process

All participants must complete an intake application and screening. Once reviewed:

 

  • Qualified applicants will be placed on the waitlist or matched to available housing

  • A team member will contact applicants for next steps

 

4. Waitlist Policy

Due to high demand, DBHSS maintains a waitlist system.

 

  • Waitlist placement does not guarantee immediate housing

  • Applicants are contacted in order of readiness, urgency, and availability

  • Failure to respond may result in removal from the list

 

5. Housing Expectations

All participants are expected to:

 

  • Maintain respectful behavior toward staff and other residents

  • Follow house rules and curfews (if applicable)

  • Keep living spaces clean and damage-free

  • Participate in required check-ins or support services

Violation of policies may result in program review or removal.

 

6. Fees & Contributions

Program fees (if applicable) will be discussed during intake.

 

  • Contributions may vary based on placement type

  • All payments must be made on time as agreed in placement terms

 

7. Communication Policy

All communication should be directed through official DBHSS emails:

 

We aim to respond within 24–48 business hours.

 

8. Privacy Policy

DBHSS respects client confidentiality.

 

  • Personal information is only used for housing placement and support services

  • Information is not shared without consent unless required by law

 

9. Program Termination

DBHSS reserves the right to terminate participation if:

 

  • Policies are violated

  • Safety concerns arise

  • Misuse of program resources occurs

 

10. Updates to Policies

Policies may be updated as the program grows. All participants will be notified of significant changes.
